Southern VT Auction LLC was founded in June, 2005. We are a full service auction which runs at least once a month. We specialize in estates, with an emphasis on fine art, especially by Vermont Artists.

Auctions are held at the Dorset Sportsmen's Club on Kirby Hollow Road near Long Trail School (see map on home page).

The auctions are open to the public and are held in a comfortable hall with plenty of seating. Every sale is catalogued, so you will know what's coming next. We have a terrific caterer, so you can settle in, be comfortable and enjoy the sale.

If you are interested in bidding on an item, you must register to bid,(get a bidding number), provide proper ID and secure all absentee bids with a credit card, should you be unable to attend.

Absentee bids and phone bids are accepted after you request a conditon report, to be emailed and returned. If you have ANY questions, please call us. WE CANNOT ACCEPT ABSENTEE BIDS DURING THE ACTUAL AUCTION ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON!! Please plan accordingly. If you have previewed the lots in person, and have registered, please call us and we can set up your absentee bids over the phone.

We offer appraisals, purchase and sales of personal property, artwork, antiques and decorative objects. Please consider our services if you are moving, downsizing, redecorating, or just plain tired of your stuff. We can sell one item, or your entire household.

BACKGROUND Started in 2005, Southern Vermont Auction LLC is the product of 15 years of auction gallery know-how. Ms Lukas has worked directly in the estates auction industry since 1992 as a cataloger, gallery manager and appraiser. She has also free-lanced for industrial auctioneer Loeser & Associates. She has produced appraisals for clients ranging from local homeowners to Columbia University.
